YWGSD vs Reclaim

Reclaim calls itself the #1 AI calendar for work, and it’s built around teams: meetings, habits and booking links. YWGSD plans one person’s tasks, and leaves your calendar alone.

Every Reclaim fact here was read on their own site on 22 September 2026. Prices move — check theirs too.

Pick YWGSD if

  • you want your tasks planned, not your meetings brokered
  • you use iCloud, or you want an iPhone app
  • work you didn’t finish should never be assumed done
  • you’d rather have no AI anywhere near your week

Pick Reclaim if

  • you need a free plan, or a trial with no card
  • your team books meetings with each other all week
  • you want booking links and smart meeting scheduling
  • you need SSO, SCIM or a SOC 2 report

At a glance

  • Price

    YWGSD

    $24 a month, or $192 a year — $16 a month. Everything’s included on every plan.

    Reclaim

Free Lite plan. Starter $10 per seat a month billed yearly, $12 monthly; Business $15 / $18; Enterprise $22, yearly only. No credit metering.

  • Free trial

    YWGSD

14 days. A card up front, and we email you 3 days before the first charge.

    Reclaim

14 days, no card. It drops to the free Lite plan afterwards rather than charging you.

  • Refunds

    YWGSD

Your first payment back within 7 days, taken yourself from Settings. No asking.

    Reclaim

Fees are non-refundable, except that cancelling an annual plan within 30 days gets 11 months back pro rata.

  • How it schedules

    YWGSD

Every task gets a real block in the gaps between your meetings, inside the hours you allow. The day rebuilds itself whenever something changes.

    Reclaim

Reclaim 1.0 auto-schedules tasks, habits, focus time and buffers. Reclaim 2.0, in early access, doesn’t put individual task events on your calendar at all — their own help page recommends staying on 1.0 if you want that.

  • A task you didn’t get to

    YWGSD

Moves to your next opening and stays in front of you until you finish it or cancel it. Past its deadline it turns amber. A missed repeat never expires.

    Reclaim

When the time passes, it assumes the work was done unless you switch auto-reopen on.

  • AI

    YWGSD

None. The same calendar and the same lengths give the same plan every time.

    Reclaim

AI everywhere, and no off switch we could find: agents, a planner, chat, meeting agendas, and MCP into ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and Gemini.

  • Your calendars

    YWGSD

Reads Google, Outlook and iCloud. Never writes to any of them.

    Reclaim

Google and Outlook. It writes time blocks onto your primary calendar. iCloud only if you sync it into Google first.

  • Getting thoughts in

    YWGSD

An Inbox that asks for nothing — no length, no priority, no deadline — then the once-over turns the pile into scheduled work in about a minute.

    Reclaim

Through other tools: Slack, a Google Calendar add-on, Raycast, Google Tasks, Zapier, and on paid plans Todoist, Asana, ClickUp, Jira and Linear.

  • Phones

    YWGSD

The web app works in any phone browser. The iPhone app is built and waiting on the App Store. No Android app.

    Reclaim

No native iOS or Android app — their help centre says so plainly. The web app can be installed.

  • Teams

    YWGSD

No. One person, one plan, nothing shared.

    Reclaim

Yes, and that’s the point of it: every paid plan is a team plan.

The three differences that matter

Unfinished work isn’t assumed done

When a Reclaim task event’s time passes, it assumes the work happened unless you turn auto-reopen on. In YWGSD there are two ways out and no others: you mark it done, or you cancel it. Anything else moves to your next opening and keeps moving, amber once its deadline has gone.

Tasks on iPhone: a task past its deadline under Past due in amber, then today’s scheduled work.
Past its deadline, not past saving.

It reads your calendar rather than filling it

Reclaim writes its blocks onto your primary calendar, so your colleagues see them. YWGSD reads Google, Outlook and iCloud and writes to none of them — your plan lives in YWGSD, and your work calendar stays the way your employer’s used to seeing it.

Read, never written to. Google, Outlook and iCloud.

An iPhone app, and iCloud without a detour

Reclaim has no native mobile app, and iCloud only works if you sync it into Google first. YWGSD connects iCloud directly with an app-specific password, and has an iPhone app built for it — it’s waiting on the App Store now.

Where Reclaim is better

Written plainly, because you’re going to find out anyway.

  • a free forever plan, and a 14-day trial with no card
  • team scheduling: smart meetings, booking links, shared habits
  • cheaper per seat if you’re a team
  • SSO, SCIM and a SOC 2 Type II report
  • many more integrations

Switching takes about ten minutes

  1. 1

    Connect your calendars

Google, Outlook and iCloud. We read them so work lands around your meetings, and we never write to them.

  2. 2

    Say when you work

One set of hours to start with. Add more later if the evenings belong to something else.

  3. 3

Type your list into the Inbox

One line, Enter, next — the field keeps focus, so a whole list goes in as fast as you can type it. No lengths or deadlines yet.

  4. 4

    Give it the once-over

How long, how important, and it’s scheduled. Keep Reclaim running alongside for a week if you like; nothing here writes to your calendar, so the two can’t fight.
